- After approximately an hour's drive, we arrive at our first destination, the mesmerizing Melka Kanture. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore remnants of an ancient civilization that once thrived in this very place.
- Continuing our journey southward for another half an hour, we encounter the magnificent rock-hewn church of Adadi Maryam. This architectural marvel stands as a testament to the extraordinary craftsmanship of the past. Surrounded by an aura of tranquility, Adadi Maryam offers a captivating glimpse into Ethiopia's rich spiritual heritage.
- Afterward, we find a picturesque spot in the area to enjoy a delightful picnic lunch, specially prepared and brought from Addis Ababa.
- Our journey then takes us further south, with a scenic hour-long drive (approximately 45 kilometers) to Tiya. There we will see the Steles of Tiya. These mysterious structures carry with them the whispers of the past, inviting you to unravel their secrets and contemplate the rich history they hold.
- As our tour draws to a close, we make our way back to Addis Ababa, a journey of approximately 1,5 hours (covering around 85 kilometers). We ensure you arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon, allowing you time to relax and reflect upon the remarkable experiences of the day.
