Dubai is definitely a great city, but have you ever been to the capital of the United Arab Emirates? Abu-Dhabi certainly has something to surprise you! Take a tour of the most interesting places with me.
Embark on a tour through the largest man-made port in the world - Jebel Ali! It is the largest trading port located in the emirate of Dubai in the UAE. Its construction took place between 1976 and 1979 and the port was one of the most ambitious building projects of its time.
Then we will go straight to Abu-Dhabi, from where we will have a view of the Abu-Dhabi Corniche. It is the largest eight-kilometer promenade with a beautiful and comfortable layout. Here you can find everything: playgrounds, numerous supermarkets, walking and cycling paths, many cafes and restaurants.
Next, we will get acquainted with the heritage village, which is a great place to relax with your family, and a place where modernity and history are intertwined. The village is a real time capsule, illustrating the life of people in the harsh desert in bygone eras. It depicts the life that the ancestors of the pre-modern UAE lived.
In the village you can buy many souvenirs, learn traditional crafts. We will be able to observe how craftsmen make blown glass, ceramics, weave fabric on an ancient weaving machine. You can even try your hand at trading.
Marina Centre is a great place to visit. This center is the main outlet for its area, which offers a variety of goods and services, including luxury, and much more. Another important shopping attraction is the Abu-Dhabi Market.
From there we will head to the Sheikh Zahid Mosque. When we enter the mosque, we realize how interesting and beautiful this place is. This mosque is considered to be one of the largest in the world. The sheikh wanted this mosque to become a cultural monument and sanctuary that would attract people from all walks of life.
Next, we will head towards the Presidential Palace. It adorns the skyline of the city, and its architectural style is a tribute to traditional Islamic architecture, the Arab cultural heritage. Another important attraction is the Emirates Palace. Here, even the most fastidious tourist will be surprised by the luxury of decoration, perfect service and restaurants for every taste.
